Progress report feb 24th

Just finished sewing the scales to the leather patches and it came out pretty well in my opinion. Bottom piece was a sample square, middle was a strip cut from a larger scrap and top was a thick piece I cut from a square I'm not sure what they'd be used for. Anyways, had dad sew them together, a straight stitch down the middle almost all the way to the hole on the top one, then little one for the top. Can see it better on the other pictures I'll post. I know it's not really period and what not but rather have it not fall apart on me lol. Used some green thread to sew the two piecs together and I know that stuff will hold for ages. Probably tear your fingers off your hand before you broke it so good stuff. Bottom padding helps my shoulders since my chain mail shirt would want to dig in. See how it goes rest of the way.
